Empowering Communities, Uplifting Lives Since 1996.
The Soofi Sachal Sarmast Welfare Association (SSSWA) is a grassroots non-profit organization established on December 1, 1996. We are dedicated to promoting social welfare and community empowerment across rural areas, with a primary focus on uplifting vulnerable and marginalized populations.
Founded by 40 community-minded individuals, SSSWA operates on a self-support basis, reflecting deep-rooted community trust. We are formally registered with the Social Welfare Department, Government of Sindh (Reg No. DDSW/LRK/VA/266) under the Social Welfare Act 1961.
"Operating on deep-rooted community trust and backing."
We envision thriving rural communities characterized by economic prosperity, educational advancement, and cultural vibrancy. Our goal is to alleviate poverty and foster inclusive decision-making, ensuring that the most vulnerable voices are heard.
SSSWA is committed to realizing this vision by conscientiously managing natural resources, amplifying the voices of the marginalized, and fostering sustainable livelihoods through targeted community interventions.
We operate under a strictly defined set of values to ensure the highest standards of service.
We believe all men and women are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities in development.
We maintain honesty and integrity, ensuring stakeholders have full access to information.
We prioritize high-quality performance and reward creative, innovative solutions within our programs.
